I'm finally getting back to work.
The Sleeping Liar. Needs vocals, needs lyrics. Needs mixing. Needs better programming on the drum breaks.
But still, I like it a lot.
I've decided not to do any further genre specific mixing to this track. I want to do a complete demo with the right vocalist....but I think I want to leave it kind of neutral, if that makes sense. Like, I'm thinking I will let the vocalist's style determine the final feel of the track. With a little work it could be a country track, or whatever.

I put this together today. It's not a final arrangement at 1:15 or so, but it's three distinct elements of something. I think it's kind of a song. I normally work on more abstract stuff but this might be more. Or less, depending on where your musical sensibilities lie.
If there's anyone out there that "feels" this kind of thing, and thinks they could bring something to it, contact me. If you think you even know someone who would be into vocalizing on something like this, contact me. Or give that person my contact info. ;)

Hey there, just wanted to share another track off of the soon to be released "Radio Under The Pillow" EP.
It's technically a demo in that there is a new mix on the EP, with some different arrangement and mix things goin on...
Oh, the vocal sample in the song was spoken by my fiancee. She doesn't charge royalties.

EDIT PART 2: Re-exported the track as ogg vorbis. Problem seems corrected. Now...if anyone knows what I can do about pink squares vs. a picture, holler back!
